These puppies were out of Black Velvet Chaps
and AKC CH LS Alanjackson. At the request of
AJ's owner, all went to pet homes, and what a
lucky group of puppies. They all have great
homes!
I have kept a female out of this litter, and have
named her Greenwood's Charm Isa Belle
Hopefully I will get some pics of her soon.

Mixie's new family came for a visit and fell in
love with this sweet puppy.
Rudy's family is so excited they went out and
had "Rudy" tee shirts made! When he flies to
Kentucky, the whole family plans to be at the
airport to meet him!
"Nixie"
Andrew and Dehna came and picked up their puppy.
They emailed..."We just wanted to let you know, the long
drive was worth it!! My wife and I have fallen in love
with our new puppy. We have named her Callie. We
can just not believe how great she is. She is very, very
friendly, filled with lots of energy, and is just the biggest
lover on the planet. Whatever it is you're doing with the
puppies, keep it up. Thank you very much for letting her
become part of our family".
It was fun to visit with Andy and Dehna, I knew they would
like this puppy... she is so sweet.
I have my granddaughter, Haley to thank for socializing
these puppies. She has played with these puppies a lot.
What a great home Callie has now! A huge yard to run in
and a super nice young couple to love her.
Her name suits her too!

Montana...
(New "Mom") Marty emailed.."Cappy got

getting to know each other and taking naps on
the bed."
This puppy loves kids, and I am sure he and
Taylor will have many happy times together

Update on Rudy!.. He has arrived at
his new home in Kentucky...he looks
happy, and pleased to be in his new
home
The new family looks
happy to finally have
Rudy home too!
I took Rudy to the
airport today, and
found pictures waiting
for me when I got
home!
New "Mom" Jill emailed: "The airport went
smoothly, The rugged old guys at the cargo
terminal had dewey eyes when they saw
Robert Jr take Rudy out of his kennel and
hug him."
"Rudy loves everyone. Rudy is a beautiful
guy with a beautiful personality. He knows
his name, and he has never used his mouth
on anyone, just kisses. What a Special
gentleman. He learned the word for his toy
"sheep" in a minute, and will go "get the
sheep" any time you ask him for it. He is
putting toys in his bed... a very tidy young
man.
Jill assured me of more pictures, and I will
look forward to updates on this wonderful
family and their great puppy!
These girls came from Mpls to
Greenwood Acres and picked up
their puppy after their vacation. I
think vacation actually got long for
them! After they left, I found a
picture they had colored thanking
me for Mixie! It was so sweet-I
have it on my refridgerator. I got
another note...Mom says Mixie is
doing great and the girls sent me
a couple of paintings of them with
their puppy. They will be special
pages in my puppy scrapbook.
Mixie must be behaving because
some friends called and said they
have to have one too.
Up date on Rudy-8/17-Rudy has learned to
fetch
bring and drop. He even learned a long
sit-wow,
I'm impressed! Rudy is only 13 wks old!
Rudy's family shared the coolest picture with
me- they call it a corgi ism...Rudy's cool, calm,
and laid back.

Rudy....Growing and
Handsome!
Thanks, Jill, for the photo.
Rudy's family also now includes a
little
girl out of "Cookie" They call her
Winnie and hope to show her.
This is Baxter. His new friend is
Nancy from California. She and her
friend Evie flew in to get Baxter and
took him home on the plane with
them. Nancy said he was a hit on
the
plane, and behaved beautifully.
Nancy brought toys for my puppies
and we had a great visit. She and
Evie show in agility, and is hoping
Baxter has a knack for it.
She has emailed...Baxter is alert and
energetic and smart... He has been
to his first team penning, goes along
to her dog training classes...where
he has made friends with a sheltie
puppy his age. He is getting tons of
socialization!
Wow, thank you Nancy! UPS
brought a boxful of delightful puppy
toys for my puppies from Nancy and
Baxter! She said she has a running
account at the toystand at the
shows, and they wanted to share!
Nancy was kind enough to invite
Whitney over to meet Baxter...she
was totally impressed with
him...Nancy has done a great job,
and Baxter will be starting puppy
classes soon. His registered name
will be Greenwood's
Full Throttle. I love it!!
A classy puppy, as is typical with
Chap's babies. This guy is also
going to live in CA. (That makes
3 out of the 6) Whitney is his new
mom, and she also shows in
agility. He and Baxter will have
family reunions and Whitney and
Nancy have each made a new
friend. I expect to hear fun things
about this
puppy.
This is Bo Jangles who went
to live with Laure and Bob
in Southern MN. ...smallest
in the litter, but certainly not
small on attitude! ..he is
keeping them busy - great
hat Laure!
I had planned to keep at least one of the two females in this litter, but
because of the opportunity to get Lindy and Uptown, David thought I
should wait in holding back another puppy...My corgi family has been
growing...They are addictive.. the two girls found great homes.

I need a whole page to tell you about this puppy's family. This puppy sent his mom (Chaps) a 6 page letter
and 23 pictures of him and his new home. Congratulations to "Wrangler on his wonderful new family!
Check out a couple of these pictures! By the way, Wrangler is now a citizen of Canada!
Thanks Don, Dawn and Donovan for giving this guy such a great home.
Don't know who
looks happier,
Wrangler or Donovan.
Kisses for the "Big
Dog"...."Chicago"
Relaxing ...Looks like
a happy dog to me!!
Here is "Buddy". He now lives in California with Dan & Ruth.
Daughter Amy e-mailed..."I love him to death. My parents think he is king of the house.
They love him so much! He was terrific on the flight here. The lady from the flight said he
was so good and so alert. She said most little puppies get nervous and scared, but not our
little guy. He was friendly and wagging his tail!"
Congratulations to Buddy, Dan & Ruth. Look out, sounds like Amy would like to have him!.
Duane, Tammy & family in Wisconsin took this little girl into their home. They named her
Summer, and she has a Corgi buddy named Cody. Tammy says "I call them the truesome
twosome because they do everything together. All is well! She is 7 1/2 lbs. We are very
pleased! It is funny to see people go nuts over these Corgis. They go on and on about how
cute they are! Many do not recognize the breed so it's funny to listen to them try to guess.
Thanks for the opportunity to have Summer in our lives. She is spunky and cute, and seems to
be enjoying it here."
Summer is a very pretty puppy. I almost kept her for myself but Duane talked me out of her. Best
wishes to this nice family!
This handsome puppy also now resides in Canada. This puppy is now "Ricky". It sounds as if he
and his new friend Larysa have bonded well. Larysa e-mailed this nice letter:
Hi Lu!
I just wanted to let you know how absolutely wonderful Ricky is! We have had the best
summer, we go everywhere together. Ricky is a celebrity at the horse shows and everyone
thinks he is the cutest thing they have ever seen! He loves to meet new people and dogs and
thinks that he should be able to visit with every single person that passes by! We just got back
from a horse show that was 13 hours away and Ricky couldn't have been better.
I just wanted to let you know how much I love having Ricky. He is so much fun at home and on
the road and he has been very well socialized. We look forward to starting classes next week,
and of course, Ricky will be the cutest and most well behaved puppy there! Thank you for
giving me such a wonderful dog and friend.
Thank you Larysa, I think Ricky is a very lucky puppy!
Congratulations to Brian of Connecticut on your puppy...
This pretty female puppy went to a new home in Connecticut just in time for Christmas. Brian e-mailed...
"Just wanted to let you know the puppy made it here in great shape. She looks great and is really bonding
well with everyone. The people at Delta on this end were really great and I would recommend them in the
future. Thanks for everything."
It was a long trip, with a stop in Detroit on the way, it's good to hear the airlines takes good care of our
puppies, and that Brian is happy with this little girl.
Karen fell in love with her puppy, and took him home just after Christmas.
Surprisingly, she previously had a puppy out of Solo, "Corky", whom she lost to
a car accident. She didn't make the connection until she got home - she e-mailed,
"I couldn't be happier...he was so good coming home and I feel like I have a
part of Corky back in my life again!! You have no idea how happy I am. By the
way, this guy is now "Dickens" short for Give Em Dickens."
I love getting these notes back, and I have NO Doubt that Dickens has an excellent
home.! Thank you Karen.
Charm at 16 Weeks
Update from another Satisfied Puppy Home! She finally has a call
name..."Misty". Vickie says they have bonded well, their new family
member gets along great with her new German Shepard friend and the
family cat. She loves Vicki, and has made no house "mistakes"...another
lucky puppy! I wanted to cry when I left this sweet girl at the airport!
She had become special to me. I am delighted that she immediately decided
she loved her new Texas family.
