Below are some of the horses we raised...in the pasture...watching a mare

A six year old...Ice has been turned out in the pasture
with the other horses. We have not done this mare
justice...she was entered in the Breeder's Trust, and
never shown. We are selling her as we will be mostly
trail riding and although she would be nice for us to
ride, she would make someone a broodmare deluxe!

Anyone can ride this horse, although she
is green broke. We have not had the time
to ride. I believe she could be a very nice
pleasure horse. She has never bucked, and
since we live along a main highway, traffic
including semi's and motorcycles do not
bother her.

by a friend, Lawrence "Duke" Pennings,
of Roseland, MN. Duke has raised
many fine Appaloosa horses. She is
one of the 3 horses we still own. My
husband says...One rider, one horse...
two riders...two horses. Makes sense,
I guess, since we are no longer raising
foals.

This mare has been sold to Connie from Canada. We wish them
both the best! After raising her from a baby, it is hard to see her
go, but she will have a great home.

This guy was an "oops"...we bought Peponita Bars bred to
a "quarter horse" ...turns out there was also a work horse
yearling stud in the pasture also....she had some trouble foaling this
guy, who was born with feet that looked like a 00 when he was
born...turned out to be an excellent riding horse. I rode him on a
trail ride in Medora.
