"Everything went great. She's a real sweetie. We got
there just as she was being unloaded and she was
wiating for us at the counter. It went very smoothly.
Thanks so much for the puppy treats and a blanki for
her." They call her "Rubi" and are giving this puppy
a great home.

F-1 'Hattie' - Scott & Suzanne, IND
F-3 - Abby -Michael & Carol, MN- This couple drove
a long way to get their puppy and brought her new pal,
Rudy along. She says " Abby is doing just fine, sleeping
all night, loves to go outside and chase Rudy around the
yard. I think Rudy is happy to have a companion again.
Thanks for letting me purchase such a wonderful puppy.
Carol has sent me some cute pictures, which I love to get.
F-4 - Libby - Michael & Amanda, MN -This couple
picked up their puppy...they are only about 15 miles
from us! Amanda said "Libby has been adjusting well. I
can tell you put a lot of time and love into these puppies
and this is why she is so easy for us to handle. She is
already getting potty training. I can tell she will be
spoiled, my husband has already stayed home from ice
fishing one day! I can't even get that to happen. We got
her to keep me company when he goes fishing."
M-1 - Doc - Carol, CT - Carol had to wait a few extra weeks for her puppy due to a hernia. We had it repaired and kept
him until healing was well underway. She emailed that he was worth the wait, and loves him a lot...I talked on the phone
quite a bit to Carol, and we found we had much in common. Doc's full name is "Caradoc"...Welsh for "beloved"...fitting, I
think.
M-2 - Justin - MA- Justin bought this puppy to surprise his fiancee, Laura..."Picked up the puppy last night at the airport,
and he is absolutely perfect! He has one of the sweetest dispositions and one of the best personalities ...I couldn't be
happier! He is sitting on my lap right now, his tummy full from breakfast, licking my chin and being as friendly as could
be. I can't wait til Laura sees him..." What a great Christmas present! This was a very well kept secret, which Justin
spent considerable time planning!

Email from Melanie re: M-5; ...he is an absolute sweetheart and everyone loves him. We have named him Sampson. He and my
pug are becoming fast friends. New update, 7/23/04; Sampson just completely shocked me this morning and I had to tell you about
it...He was chewing a rawhide bone and Little Bear (pug) came up and tried to grab it. Sampson snapped at him and Little Bear ran
away. A minute later, Sampson picked up the bone, walked across the room to Little Bear and dropped it in front of him! Then he
backed up a couple of feet, sat down and watched Little Bear chew on it. He watched him for a minute then went off and found
another toy to play with. My jaw almost hit the floor! He was sharing! I have never seen anything like it. Is this normal corgi
behavior, or do I just have an exceptional corgi?
F-1-" Maryn" is going to have some great
fun with Eleanor, (puppy out of
Lexie/Scandal 2/04 litter) and will be
another "best friend" of
Joelyn in Franklin, TN.
M-2 and M-5 look like twins,
and are hard for me to tell apart.
Miserable with a big tummy....
A well deserved
rest...delivering
10 puppies is exausting!
M-1 has gone to live with
Ann in MN...she is going to
train him for agility. Ann and
her husband came to
Greenwood
Acres and chose him after a
bit of testing for a puppy
that was inquisitive,
energetic, focused and
fearless. We wish
them luck and hope to hear
of
fun things going on for them.
M-2 has gone to live with
Karin in Idaho. She emailed:
"He is absolutely perfect! He
was a little nervous when I took
him out of the crate, but he
mellowed out the more I held
him...I named him Murphy.I
love him already Thank you so
much for the new addition to
my family."
M-3...leaving us to go to
PA with the Meyers...they
currently have Tyson, a
puppy out of Rosie.
Karin had a little concern about choosing a puppy from a picture, she
sent this picture of her puppy with one of her two rescued dogs,
"Shelby".
Little Murphy looks
very content with his
new friend and Shelby
doesn't seem to mind
another family
member either.
F-1, This puppy has gone
to live with Sephanee and
Kathy in MPLS.
They came to Greenwood
Acres to pick her up, and it
was love at first sight...they
called when they got home
and said they had a great
trip home with her...she sat
on their lap and travelled
very well. They are very
excited about her and she
will have lots of love and
TLC. Her name is Madeline
Brrrrrrrr. The coldest day of the year for us,
and
F-2 and I went to meet her new family. It
was 10 below zero and windchills of 30
below, but
"Karney Sue" warmed right up to Heidi, who
has been very anxious to get her new puppy.
They have several outings planned to friends
who can't wait to meet their new puppy.
Karney Sue will meet Wrangler (see puppies
out of Chaps) who is a relative of hers, and
living in Canada. Cold winters will be the
norm!
F-3 has gone to Maryland to
her new family...Theresa
emailed: "Just wanted to let
you know that Annabelle Lee
arrived in excellent condition.
She is the sweetest dog. We
are all in love with her, even
my 18 yr old son is making a
fool of himself over her!"
I have no doubt this is going to be a very much loved puppy...they
have already taken her to visit her 12 year old daughter's class.
2/15 Update...Heidi called to say Karney Sue is doing great...she loves the snow
and is
already going to the door when she has to go out...Good Job Heidi! She says
the puppy is very smart and Heidi takes her everywhere with her...Karney loves
people!

M-3,Carol of CT. already has a Leah
puppy from a previous litter named
Caradoc...this little guy is "Rhys" and has
gone to live with Carol and her husband
in CT. He will have a wonderful family
and I look forward to hearing future
"Corgi Updates" from Carol.
F-4 has been chosen by Keith and Alisha to
live with them in Perry, FLA...Keith flew up
to get her and we met him at the plane. He
thought she was beautiful and we had a nice
visit...about corgi puppies, what else. It was
nice to meet him and I am pleased to report
another corgi puppy going to a great home!
F-6 has gone to her new home in Chanhassen
with Gordon and Molly. They made 2 trips
to, first look at the puppies, then when they
were older, came to pick her out. Then
another trip to pick her up...Molly emailed that
she slept most of the way home and went to
Grandma's house for a visit. Apparently she
was a good girl as Gordon's mom offered to
puppysit anytime. Molly reported that she is
very well behaved in her crate and crawls right
in and lays down. They are very pleased with
"Sophie" and we are happy that she has a
great family (also, a YorkiePoo "cousin" that
will visit and play with)!
F-1 has been chosen to be a loving
companion to Tom in MN...He and
daughter, Nicole came to visit when
the puppies were very young and then
again when they were ready to
choose their puppy. Her name will be
Abigail
F-3 has made the trip to her new family in
Glendale, CA...Connie and Gary emailed
that she made the trip fine and was alert and
happy to see them. The people at the cargo
terminal were oohing and ahing at how cute
she is and
Connie thought she is prettier than her
pictures.
Gary thought her to be a great Father's Day
Gift! Another lucky puppy!
F-2 has gone to a new home with Elsie in
CA. Her name is Delilah and will be a
playmate of Dylan...who is also a
Greenwood Corgi. She may get to see
some action on the agility course.
Photos at 8 weeks
M-1 has gone to a new home with
Scott in Ortonville, MN. He came
with 2 nephews to get him. This pup
will have a great life in his new
"forever home".
7/14/06...An update was received from
Alisha to let me know how much they love
and enjoy Lucy...her daughter told her the
other night..."Mom, I really love that
dog"...they are busy with the
training...Alisha says"I must say that she is a
delight. I have had other breeds of dogs,
but I think the Welsh Corgi is now my
favorite. I could not see myself with any
other breed now. I'm hooked. You
delivered (or I should say Leah delivered) a
beautiful, high quality puppy. Thank you,
Alisha, Keith and Lauren for the loving
home for Lucy!
Leah/Scandal Litter born 4/10/2006
M-2 has gone to live with Larry, Kate
and their two sons, who already have
another
Greenwood Corgi puppy out of Willow
and Scandal. This guy will be busy
keeping up with his older corgi playmate
and these two active but well behaved
boys. The boys already had him running
beside them on the leash. See his updated
pics below.
