AQHA 2004 Palomino Mare
Lena is a 7 year old palomino mare that stands a little over 14 hands...her pedigree boasts of many
cutting and reining horse champions. She is very well trained...rides off your legs and rides with a light
hand. She is not hyper or edgy, she's calm and walks quietly...but steps out nicely on the trails. She
also has a nice lope, and takes her leads. She has had reining training and is quick and agile when
asked. Lena has been ridden on trails all over Minnesota, and we spent a week in the Black Hills. She
stands nice on a picket line or quietly next to a trailer.
Lena is not an aggressive horse in the pasture, and gets along well in the pecking order. She is an easy
keeper, is very nice to handle and stands nice for the farrier, for bathing, clipping and grooming.
Lena has not been worked on cattle, but I feel she would excel in team sorting or team penning. She is
an honest, sound, and well trained horse. $3500

Lena has been used to park cars at our local threshing show, taking
all the people, vehicles and the noise of the tractors and threshing
machines quietly in stride!
