"Loved and Never Forgotten"
A Christmas present for Bobbi.   This wonderful little dog became Bobbi's shadow.  She
went to work with her, slept with her and sat with her nose next to her plate
when she ate.  I got several calls a week from Bobbi with stories of smart or cute things
Sidney had done that day.  She loved toys... balls were her favorite... she would run one
down and come back with it  quickly...just so you could throw it again.  She never
tired of this game.

She was a member of our family  and is sadly missed by all of us.  She was Bobbi's best
friend, her partner, and her baby.  I was her "Grandma".
I Lost my special one today
The kind you can't replace,
And looking at her empty bed,
I still can see her face.

I know she's in a special place
our Lord has just for her,
Where meadows, fields, and flowers,
help make her strong and whole again.

I know she's watching over me,
She'll be with me when I cry.
So with one more kiss on her beloved head,
I told my sweet girl goodbye.
Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on,
And Cherished memories never fade
Because a loved one is gone...

Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
For as long as there are memories,
They'll live on in the heart.
We have lots of "Sidney" memories...She was so photogenic.
She was interested in everything, and was very well behaved.
Many people will miss her... if they were a friend or acquaintance
of Bobbi's, they were a friend of Sidney too.

We want to share some of the pictures,
and memories we have of our "Sidders".
Baby Sidney Rae
Sidney with her cousin Earl...
Sidney had one beautiful litter of puppies...she was
an excellent  mom, but let Bobbi know she would
rather be Bobbi's baby than take care of babies.
Always dressed for the weather,
Sidney had many coats and sweaters.
Nothin' like a good bone in
front of the fire on a winter day!
Sidney liked to snooze on the office
chair when we worked on the computer
A nice sunny spot on the floor was ok too
Sidney liked the water, and would
put her nose under the water to get
her ball.  She loved this game and
was so athletic!
Here she was waiting for Bobbi to
throw the ball into the pool.
A gentle girl that was patient with                    Hey...what are you guys doing?
other dogs and puppies                                     go find your own mama.

newest addition to the family on
Christmas Eve, 2006.
Sidney isn't sure about the floating
device at Cousin Earl's big pool!
Help me Bobbi!
OK Haley,  I trust you...
Not so bad after all...if it  makes
them happy!

the bean bag chair.
BLING!  Sidney's Christmas present...
a new jewel studded collar that Bobbi
picked up at the NFR in Las Vegas.
She also got a tunnel...she liked to
go in it and lay down!
Sidney liked to lay down and snooze
as long as there was someone to
snuggle next to.
Sidney was always ready to engage
in play with other dogs, but her
favorite thing, was for Bobbi to throw
her ball so she could bring it back....
again and again and again!
Bobbi's lap was her favorite place to be
A heart of gold stopped beating
Two shining eyes at rest,
God broke my heart to prove,
he only takes the best.

God knows you had to leave me,
but you did not go alone,
for part of me went with you
the day he took you home.
I think a lot of children in heaven needed a great little
dog to play with...Sidney fit the profile...she was the best,
and will always be loved and will never be forgotten.
We may not be together
in the way we used to be,
We are still connected
by a cord no eye can see.

So whenever you need to find me,
we're never far apart,
if you look beyond the rainbow
and listen to your heart.
