I have a friend, Marj, who has developed a product to help with paper training small breed puppies. It is called a
"Tinkle Tray", and prevents puppies from tearing puppy pads and newspaper, which is always a problem.
Paper training can be a good way to train these little guys if you are gone a lot, if it is cold outside, if you live in
an apartment, or if you are handicapped and taking them outside is difficult. When they are young, they have to
go quite frequently.

This little puppy has made a trip to the nursing
home to visit a friend of ours who also used to raise
some puppies. Needless to say, we had to stop and
say hi
to everyone in the hallway, and this baby brightened
the day for a lot of people. One lady in particular,
who had to give up her yorkie when she moved
to the home.
